Transcript: The One With The Awkward Introduction

Hi everyone, my name is Camila, welcome to my podcast!

This is my first episode, so I'm just going to take this moment to introduce myself to whoever is listening, probably right now it's just family and friends, so thank you so much for listening to this awkward episode.

I'm going to label the episodes -at least this is my idea for now- like they label the episodes in Friends (the TV series), as they always label them like 'The one with [...]' or 'The one where [...]', and I think it's a really good idea and I'm just going to "steal" the idea from them and do that on my podcast as well (hopefully that won't be a problem, but everyone does this, so I don't think it's going to be a problem.)

I'm going to tell you quickly some things that I enjoy and some things that I'm thinking of talking about on this podcast. Fore example, TV series: I love 'Friends', I love 'Bones' ('CSI' not so much, like, I used to watch it whenever it came on the TV, but I'm not that big a fan of it), I used to love 'Once Upon A Time' but I think from the fifth season it started to get a little bit "awkward" so I don't really watch it anymore. I love Disney, I absolutely love Disney, everything they make, honestly I love it.

More about myself: I'm a Brazilian, and I live in Liverpool, where I study Forensic Anthropology (so you can see why I love the TV series called 'Bones', it's actually one of the things that got me into the field of Forensic Anthropology, as most people do. Obviously it's problematic, because there's a lot of things incorrect with 'Bones' relating to this field, but I'll get into that in one of the episodes I'll do later.) I will be talking about how it is to be an international student in England in one of the episodes, if you have any suggestions for me that would be great, so I'll link up my Facebook page so that you can leave some comments, it interact with me, it would be great to get some feedback, it would be greatly appreciated by me.

I'm going to call this episode 'The One With The Awkward Introduction' because I just have no idea what I'm going on about, because I'm just doing this so that I can upload this podcast to Spotify, as you need to have a first episode, and I just took this part to introduce myself.

I think this is all I had to say for now, I don't even have an actual microphone yet, I'm just recording this with my headphones, so this is why it sounds like trash. So just bear along with me trough this first few episodes until I actually buy a microphone.
